Search provider changes

At Startpage’s request, Startpage has been removed as a search provider and from the browser options completely. This is out of our control, but we wanted to be transparent about the change rather than having it appear without explanation.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. Yahoo is currently set as the default search engine on Android while we work through permissions for additional providers and longer term search arrangements.

Upgraded to Gecko 151

Updated the underlying browser engine to Gecko 151, bringing in the latest upstream fixes, stability improvements, and security updates.

Security fixes

This release includes fixes from Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory 2026-46.

What’s New menu behavior

Fixed an issue where the What’s New menu item could reappear after every restart, even after the release notes had already been read. It now stays hidden until the next release.

Custom wallpapers

Improved custom wallpaper handling for a smoother and more reliable experience.
