Automatically fill in your address on web forms

Waterfox can save addresses and fill them into checkout and signup forms, so you are not retyping the same details on every site.

Saved addresses are stored in your profile on this computer. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to sync.

Turn address autofill on or off

1. Click the menu button, then select Settings.
2. Select Passwords and autofill.
3. Scroll to the Addresses section.
4. Check Save and autofill addresses to enable it, or clear it to turn it off.

Add, edit or remove saved addresses

1. Open Settings and select Passwords and autofill.
2. Scroll to Addresses and select Saved addresses.
3. Use Add, Edit or Remove.
4. Close the window to save.

An address entry can hold a name, organization, street address, city, region, postcode, country, phone number and email address. Sites vary in which fields they ask for, and Waterfox fills only those it can match.

Fill an address on a form

Select a form field that Waterfox recognizes as part of an address. A dropdown lists your saved addresses; choose one and the rest of the matching fields are completed together.

To skip autofill on a particular form, ignore the dropdown and type as normal.

A note on form data

Address autofill is separate from ordinary form history, which remembers individual values you have typed into fields. Clearing your form history does not delete saved addresses, and removing a saved address does not clear form history.

To clear form history, open Settings → Privacy and security and use the browsing data controls.
